2nd Veterinary Big Data Stakeholder Forum: survey on use cases

Antibiotic intake on incidence of ESBL-PE in sub-Saharan Africa

This study assesses the impact of antibiotic intake on incidence of extended spectrum beta-lactamases producing Enterobacterales in Ghanaian pharmacy customers. The rate of carriage was higher than expected at baseline and further increased during the follow-up, irrespective of antibiotic intake.
