The call for the ECDC observership will close tomorrow 28 June 2023 at 12:00 pm (noon) CEST. The observership period is set for 16-20 October 2023. A group of 20 observers are offered a 5-day programme at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in Solna, Stockholm County, Sweden.

ESCMID awards acknowledge excellence and outstanding innovation by researchers, clinicians and other persons contributing to the progression of the fields of clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. These awardees are invited to give lectures at ECCMID and are eligible to become ESCMID Fellows. Calls to apply will be open 15 August - 25 October 2023.

We are looking for clinicians in the last year of their residency or fellowship, or during the four years following completion of the residency or fellowship; for PhD students in the same time-frames; and for post-doctoral fellows.
