Join and shape ESCMID activities: Open call for new ESCMID Subcommittee members

ESCMID is pleased to announce an open call to join two existing Subcommittees as well as two brand new ESCMID Committees. We are accepting applications for:

  • 6 members in the new AMR Action Subcommittee
  • 8 members in the new Emerging Infections Subcommittee
  • 3 members in the Professional Affairs Subcommittee
  • 1 member in the Scientific Affairs Subcommittee

You can see the details of each role on the ESCMID website. ESCMID members who are qualified and interested are encouraged to review the positions and apply before the deadline of 21 November 2023.

ESCMID Awards acknowledge excellence and outstanding innovation by researchers, clinicians and other persons contributing to the progression of the fields of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.


These awardees are invited to give lectures at ECCMID and are eligible to become ESCMID Fellows.

Join the TAE Steering Committee: nominations are now open!

Do you want to contribute to shaping the future of TAE and proactively engage in current and future TAE/ESCMID activities to represent Young Scientist Members? Then, nominate yourself for the TAE SC elections and become a part of the TAE Steering Committee.


Applications are open to our trainees to select 2 new (CM/ID) members for a 3-year term (from April 2024 to April 2027).
