ECCMID Abstract Submission – Deadline extended!

The abstract submission deadline for ECCMID 2022 has been extended by 48 hours! Visit the ECCMID website to view the guidelines and to submit your abstract for inclusion in the world’s premier congress in the field of infection.

New deadline for abstract submission: Friday, 26 November 2021 at 15:59 CET

 

 

ESCMID Executive Committee elections – Now open!

The 2021 online election for the ESCMID Executive Committee is now open for voting! The voting closes on Monday, 13 December 2021 at 12:00 noon CET. Be sure that your membership is up to date to have your say in the society’s leadership.

Send in your proposals for the ESCMID Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate 2022 – 2024!

The European Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate Programme is a newly-planned educational programme in the field of AMS. European healthcare institutions interested in hosting course modules can find the relevant proposal information here. Submission deadline: 13 December 2021 at 23:59 CET

WHO EML Antibiotic AWaRe Book – Public Consultation Phase

The public consultation phase for the new WHO EML Antibiotic AWaRe Book is now live, with the draft book available for download and review on the WHO website. The book provides detailed guidance on prescribing for over 30 common infections in both the community and hospital setting.

“ESCMID COVID-19 Guidelines: Diagnostic testing for SARS-CoV-2” is undergoing a public consultation phase. Visit the website here to participate. The deadline to provide feedback and comments is 28 November 2021.

ESCMID COVID-19 living guidelines: drug treatment and clinical management

The aim of the guidance is to provide evidence-based recommendations for management of adults with COVID-19. Specifically, the goal is to aid clinicians managing patients at various levels of severity including outpatients, hospitalized patients, and those admitted to ICU.
