Pre-ECCMID Day on Diagnostics – Don’t miss out!

The new ESCMID COVID-19 guidelines will be presented during two dedicated sessions at 9:00 CET and at 15:30 CET, be sure not to miss them!

 

 

New ESCMID Postgraduate Courses available for registration

Be sure to check the ESCMID website, where you can browse the Onsite and Online ESCMID Education courses currently available for registration.

Recently available for registration is Pre-ECCMID course on Antimicrobial Stewardship, taking place in Carcavelos, Portugal.

Launch of ECRAID

The European Clinical Research Alliance for Infectious Diseases, ECRAID, has become a legal entity and is now fully operational. ECRAID is the envisaged, long-term successor of the European-funded projects COMBACTE and PREPARE.

A new ERS monograph released on COVID-19

A new ERS monograph on COVID-19 has been released! Published in December 2021, it provides a timely and valuable state-of-the-art summary for clinicians and scientists on the current understanding of this virus and its consequences to date.

C. difficile colonisation among children in resource-limited settings

This study describes the epidemiology and risk factors for colonisation among children in the etiology, risk factors, and interactions of enteric infections and malnutrition. Also explored was whether C. difficile detection contributed to longer-term health outcomes.
