Ecraid Work Package meeting at ECCMID

Ecraid aims to establish a self-sustaining clinical research network in Europe to advance clinical research on infectious diseases. This session will describe past performance and current activities and is an open meeting for anyone. Spaces are limited so register now!

European Examination in Medical Microbiology

The UEMS Section of Medical Microbiology (MM), in partnership with ESCMID, has developed an examination which is going to take place on 23 May 2022 in Paris, France. Read the full eligibility criteria at the link below. Application deadline has been extended to April 27.

ESCMID survey on textbook used in CM/ID/IC

This survey will help ESCMID propose appropriate tools for improving initial and continuous education in clinical microbiology (CM) and infectious diseases (ID). Please follow the link below and participate in this survey.

EITAF open meeting at ECCMID

The annual open meeting of the ESCMID Emerging Infections Task Force will take place at ECCMID this year. Anyone interested in emerging infections is encouraged to join. You can see the agenda, meeting place and Zoom link to join on the EITaF website now.

New ESCMID online courses available!

ESCMID has several upcoming online education courses that are available for registration now! ‘Ethical Challenges in Infectious Diseases’ is a new free online course coming up in May and ‘COVID-19 and Liver disease’ will take place in early June from the 1st to the 3rd. Register now!

Post-COVID-19 syndrome humoral response after one year

This study describes the impact of vaccination and the role of humoral responses on post-COVID-19 syndrome. Vaccination was not seen to produce post-COVID-19 symptoms and the persistence of high serological titres response induced by natural infection may play a role in long-COVID-19.
