ESCMID Research Grants 2023

The call to apply for the ESCMID Research Grants 2023 will close in about 2 weeks! This year the focus is on projects dealing with Fungal/Viral/Parasitic Infections and Diseases. Young researchers in CM/ID are encouraged to apply and can find all details on the ESCMID website. 

Don’t miss your chance to apply, deadline to submit is 2 September 2022 at 17:00 CEST.

 

 

ESCMID/Ecraid Postgraduate Course

The purpose of the workshop is to provide the participants with tools on how to phrase a research question; choose the appropriate design and methods to address it; avoid biases; and write an optimal report. Find out more about the programme here.

New ESCMID Membership for retired persons

ESCMID has created a new type of Membership for people who have retired. The membership price is 100€ for five years and is available for people who are above 60 years of age. More information can be found at the link below.

TAE Outstanding Trainee Awards open tomorrow

The TAE Outstanding Trainee Award recognizes multi-skilled trainees with extracurricular activities in teaching, networking and collaboration for trainees in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. The award includes money prize and registration & travel for ECCMID and Summer School!

Perpetual Observational Studies: A novel concept in clinical research

This peer-reviewed paper makes a case for Perpetual Observational Studies in clinical research. This alternative approach is part of Ecraid’s efforts to improve clinical research in infectious diseases. ESCMID is a proud partner of Ecraid and you can read their introduction to the paper here.

ESID 2022 Late-breaking abstract submission

Submit your late-breaking abstract to ESID 2022 taking place 12-15 October 2022 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Seize the opportunity to share your recent research in immunodeficiencies with your peers this October.
