We are still accepting applications for the position of ESCMID Emerging Infections Director until May 22nd.
Experts in the field are encouraged to apply and join the ESCMID team in developing a new subcommittee to engage this important global issue.

Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate (AMS) 2023-2025 - 1 GRANT PLACE LEFT!

The 2-year programme prepares participants for research positions, academic and/or teaching careers, positions in national and international organisations related to AMS, employment in ASPs of healthcare institutions, and governmental positions. Whether starting, continuing, or advancing their career in the field of clinical infectious diseases, graduates will be able to actively stimulate the AMS dynamic.
The ESCMID grant covers half of the registration fee.

Register until 1 June 2023 for the ESCMID Summer School, taking place from 1-8 July 2023, Seville, Spain. This one-week course is a highlight of the ESCMID education programme and is dedicated to postgraduate and continuing medical education.

The call for 2023 ECDC Observership is opening on 30th May 2023

The new call for the ECDC observership will be opened from 30 May to 28 June 2023. The observership period is set for 16-20 October 2023. A group of 20 observers are offered a 5-day programme at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in Solna, Stockholm County, Sweden.

Apply for the postgraduate course in guidelines development by 19 June 2023

The 2023 edition of the ESCMID Post Graduate Course for developing clinical guidelines will be held in Paris, France, 4-7 October 2023. This 3-day course will be a mix of interactive lectures and small-group practical exercises in the domain of systematic reviews, meta- analyses and the GRADE approach. The course is intended for Junior clinicians / researchers in ID, IC and CM, and is free of charge!
