Call for Editor-in-chief of new ESCMID journal

ESCMID is launching a new Gold Open Access journal to expand its publishing portfolio next to the highly successful ESCMID journal - Clinical Microbiology and Infection. For this reason, we are currently looking for an Editor-in-Chief that will shape the Editorial strategy of the new journal. We are seeking highly qualified candidates with a track record of research in clinical microbiology or infectious diseases, strong editorial and peer review experience, as well as excellent communication skills.



Open call for Director of the AMR Action ESCMID subcommittee

We are opening a call for the position of Director for the subcommittee on antimicrobial resistance and early drug development (AMR Action). The Director will be responsible for organising the new AMR Action subcommittee, including shaping the strategy of the subcommittee. Deadline for sending applications is 3 March 2023.



24 h left to submit late-breaking abstracts for ECCMID 2023

Submit an abstract with your novel data that has not been published and generated after regular ECCMID 2023 abstract submission is closed. Submission of late-breaking abstracts ends tomorrow 15 February 2023.



Create your team for Selective Pressure quiz

Selective Pressure will be a competitive quiz show, where groups of 4 persons can apply for participation in this brand-new interactive session. Members of the ESCMID community have submitted quiz questions, and now ECCMID registrants are encouraged to create their teams and apply to participate.



Attendance grants available for this ESCMID onsite course

The aim of the course is to give a comprehensive overview of challenging topics of infectious diseases currently emerging or continuously present in Central and Eastern Europe. Apply for an attendance grant until 23 February 2023!
