New call for ESCMID Subcommittee members

ESCMID is pleased to announce an open call to join a number of ESCMID Subcommittees. We are accepting applications for 3 positions in the Scientific Affairs Subcommittee, 2 positions in the Guidelines Subcommittee and 2 positions in the Parity Commission. ESCMID members who are qualified and interested are encouraged to review the positions and apply before the deadline. The application period is open now and will close on January 5th, 2023.

ESCMID Förderverein supports LMIC attendance for ECCMID 2023

There are only 2 days left to apply for the ESCMID Förderverein Grant for ECCMID 2023. The ESCMID Förderverein will support ECCMID attendees residing or working in CM/ID in LMICs. The grant will provide free registration as well as full funding for flights and accommodation for the congress days. The application period closes on 15 December 2022. Learn more and apply today!

User Requirements for Community-Acquired Acute Respiratory Tract Infection Diagnostics

In the VALUE-Dx project, we aim to develop evidence-based User Requirements Specifications (URS) to support development and implementation of rapid diagnostics for community-acquired acute respiratory tract infections (CA-ARTI). We are now inviting medical experts and healthcare professionals to contribute their viewpoints through a short survey, that can be found here and is open until 08 January 2023.

European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) annual congress

3 New members

In the recent elections, three new TAE SC members were selected. They will join the committee in April 2023 for three years: Casandra Bulescu (Romania), Christian Kraef (Denmark) and Claudio Neidhöfer (Germany). Welcome on board!
