World Sepsis Day is taking place on 13 September. You can join the hybrid World Sepsis Day Event which will take place one day before on 12 September in Berlin, Germany and online. It is a free-of-charge hybrid event that will underline the urgent need for implementing the WHO's Sepsis Resolution's demands at the national and international levels. Beyond the scientific and medical exchange, an important goal is to sharpen awareness of the scale and challenges surrounding sepsis through dialogues among policymakers, health authorities, healthcare professionals, industry, and the public.

The Study Group Collaboration Grant is back again this year to support larger-scale, innovative research projects in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases organised by at least 3 ESCMID Study Groups collaborating together.
