A big thank you to all abstract submitters!

The ECCMID 2024 call for abstracts closed last week, and we are very pleased to announce that we received over 7,000 submissions, an all-time record!

A big thank you to all abstract submitters for their interest in presenting their work at ECCMID 2024. Such an outstanding number of submissions guarantees that a rich and exciting abstract programme will be featured in April 2024 in Barcelona.

The abstract peer review process has already begun, and communications about acceptance will be shared end of January 2024.

Stay tuned for the late-breaking abstract call, which will allow the submission of novel, groundbreaking research results that were not available by the regular submission deadline.

We support the initiatives of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) to deepen our understanding of HIV knowledge and attitudes in healthcare settings, aiming to fight HIV stigma.
