ECCMID 2022 CME/CPD certificates

The deadline for obtaining your CME certificate for ECCMID 2022 is approaching. It is necessary to complete the congress evaluation before 9 July 2022 to receive the CME certificate. The evaluation is available online via the ECCMID website. Please note, you can only claim CME points once.

 

 

Upcoming ESCMID Postgraduate Education Course

The course entitled, “New applications in molecular microbiological diagnostics” takes place in Maastricht, Netherlands, 26 – 29 September 2022. Don’t miss registration which is now open, only until 15 July 2022. Details on the programme can be found here.

Register for the 1st TAE/ESCMID Leadership Academy

Save the date for this new course organized by TAE, aimed to address challenges and opportunities in CM and ID and develop crucial skills in leadership and management. The course takes place 28 – 30 October 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia. Attendance grants are available!

Call for Study Group Research Funding closing

The call for Study Group Research Grants for 2022 is closing soon on 19 July! ESCMID Study Groups are invited to submit their research proposals in the fields of clinical microbiology and infectious diseases for funding. You can find all information needed to apply on the ESCMID website!

New ESCMID courses available for registration

ESCMID has several onsite and online education courses that are now available for registration! Be sure to review them all on the ESCMID website and secure your seat for the ones that interest you. Attendance Grants are available as well as discounts for ESCMID members.

EMA`s annual report 2021

The EMA has just recently published their annual report for 2021 which provides an overview of the Agency’s activities to protect and promote public and animal health in the European Union (EU) and highlights EMA’s most significant achievements. You can read the full report here.

SARS-CoV-2 Exposures of Healthcare Workers

This study assessed the roles of various exposures on healthcare workers‘ risk of COVID-19 working in primary care, long-term-care facilities, or hospitals. The authors found that they were more likely to get COVID-19 in their personal sphere than during occupational activities.
