ECCMID 2023 Website is now available!

ECCMID.org has just been updated to focus on the 33rd ECCMID. Be sure to visit the site to see the new kinds of sessions in production, congress information as well as information on Copenhagen, Denmark our hosting city this year!

ECCMID 2022 registrants will also still be able to access the online platform on the new website until October 27th.

 


 


Travel refund increased for intercontinental observerships

ESCMID Course on COVID-19 in LMICs

This online education course is organised by the EIAS and will cover the collateral damage that COVID-19 had on healthcare services in LMICs. Be sure to register today and apply for an attendance grant before October 9th.

Diagnostic Accuracy of Rapid Tests for Ebola Virus Disease

This study aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) for Ebola Virus Disease. The authors found that RDTs possess both a high sensitivity and specificity compared to RT-PCR amongst symptomatic patients presenting to Ebola Treatment Units and support the use of RDTs.
