ECCMID hybrid registration fees

Not sure whether to book a hybrid (onsite and online access) or online-only ticket to ECCMID 2022?

Because of the current situation, ESCMID is happy to announce that onsite and online tickets are available for the same price during regular fee registration (3 February 2022 – 16 March 2022), so you can book without risk.

But, be sure to register now before tomorrow’s earlybird fee deadline to secure the earlybird discount while it lasts!

 

 

ECCMID late regular and late-breaker abstract submission

Didn’t get the chance to submit your work during the regular ECCMID abstract submission period? Starting tomorrow, ESCMID will be accepting late submissions of regular abstracts alongside the usual 'late breaker' abstract call Submission is open until 16 February 2022 at 15:59 CET.

ECCMID Session Highlight – Clinical Grand Round

A staple of ECCMID, we are very excited to highlight the Clinical Grand Round, which pits the wits of 7 internationally renowned physicians against 6 difficult clinical cases.

ESCMID Attendance Grants: Apply today

ESCMID members can apply for attendance grants to ESCMID Postgraduate Education Courses and certain ESCMID-supported events run by ESCMID partners. Apply now for a grant for the 21st Lancefield International Symposium for Streptococci and Streptococcal Diseases, taking place 7-10 June, 2022.

CHMP recommendation for the authorisation of Paxlovid

Via EMA: The European Medicines Agency (EMA)’s human medicines committee (CHMP) has recommended authorising the oral antiviral medicine Paxlovid (PF-07321332 and ritonavir) for the treatment of COVID-19. Read the full statement on the EMA website.

Urgent call for EU panels (“EXPAMED”)

Via Biomed Alliance: The European Commission is currently actively looking for new applications for the expert panels on medical devices and in vitro diagnostics, which play an important role in the evaluation of medical devices and IVDs. Read the call document here.
