Abstracts submission for ECCMID 2024 will open in two weeks
All abstracts submitted for ECCMID 2024 will be reviewed by the panel of experts, and the results of the review will be provided to the presenting authors by end of January/February 2024.
Accepted abstracts will be presented at ECCMID 2024 as oral presentations or posters.
Three weeks left to apply for one of the ESCMID Awards
ESCMID Awards acknowledge excellence and outstanding innovation by researchers, clinicians and other persons contributing to the progress of the fields of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. These awardees are invited to give lectures at ECCMID and are eligible to become ESCMID Fellows. Calls to apply will close on 25 October 2023.
Application deadline for Study Group Collaboration Grant approaching fast!
The Study Group Collaboration Grant is a larger-scale grant for innovative research projects in CM and ID organised by an experienced PI with the support of at least 3 Study Groups collaborating together.
The deadline to submit applications is 12 October 2023, 17:00 CET.
Reduced registration fees are now available for participants from the Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia).
Call for Collaboration: librarian support for ESCMID clinical practice guidelines
To ensure the highest quality standards in guideline development, ESCMID guideline panels rely on systematic literature searches conducted by skilled librarians. We are now welcoming librarians (freelance or working for institutes/libraries) to join our network of collaborators. Interested librarians are invited to send their CV and cover letter to guidancedocuments@escmid.org by 15 October 2023.
Congratulations to the 2023 winners of the ISID/ESCMID Fellowship
This fellowship seeks early-career investigators from Low and Lower-Middle-Income Countries to travel to Europe for multidisciplinary clinical and laboratory training. 2023 awardees are Sas Arnaud Sèsséya Soha (Bénin) and Sosina Ayalew Tafese (Ethiopia).
